"From the beginning when we moved to Murrells Inlet Tony Pope's office has been great in meeting our insurance needs. "I had been with State Farm Insurance since 1988. COVID hit And My State Farm agent retired. I got dumped on Tony Pope. My auto insurance doubled. I canceand it took me 2 months much to get my refund And at least I have a dozen phone calls. Lucky I rated him 2 stars thank you very much"

If your policy is with us under another name and you would like to discuss your concerns with me, please call me at 843-851-2222. We take customer service and Google reviews seriously as evidenced by the 1100+ Five Star reviews that have been left for our three locations. Your review is not at all an indication of the type of service we provide. Insurance agents don’t control what rate you are charged. Rates are based on the area in which you live, your loss history and your driving record. All carriers in SC have had significant rate changes since COVID. I’m happy to speak with you about this if you are indeed insured with us. "

"Aimee and Tony at State-farm insurance in Myrtle Beach are hands down the fairest and most reasonably insurance company around. I was able to acquire renters insurance, storage insurance, vehicle insurance and utility trailer insurance cheaper than Progressive & saving me $400 every 6 months. All I can say is “Thank you very much!”"

"After transferring to Tony Pope's office, I know exactly why he's got a 5 star rating!! He's got some personable & helpful staff members from secretaries to sales people. I've been nothing but pleased since I first started to inquire awhile back on an agent change. Since May, I've had major billing issues. I'm in insurance myself & it was really hard to tack down what was going on with my former agent. However, I got in touch with Stephanie Thomas one day & she was on it before I think I even got transferred to this office. In my 15 years of professional work, I've never seen someone handle an arduous situation with such aptitude. She sent me the most detailed breakdown I've ever seen of any bill, policy, etc. Seriously, I've see few people that can even do math anymore much less compute data like that. I am a customer that's rarely ever been in contact with my insurance agent. But this was an important issue to me & I'm so grateful I could get this type of detailed assistance finally. I will continue to be a customer, barring extreme premiums, with State Farm from now on!!"

"My family has been with State Farm for as long as I can remember and I’ve followed suite in my adult life. I even got quotes from USAA and they couldn’t match the rates I currently have. I am active duty and keep all my home of records in SC for simplicity but there was confusion about my car insurance and the DMV was threatening to fine me. After someone from the office and the other state spoke there was no solution but Stacey Thacker fixed it all in one afternoon! I should have started with her from the beginning! Any questions or concerns with any of your policies, ask for Stacey Thacker!"

"Denise from Tony Pope’s office is a wonderful asset and ultimately restored my faith in State Farm. I reached out regarding a claim on work that was completed 8 weeks prior, and after numerous calls and voicemails to my claims adjuster went unanswered Denise got on the case. In a matter of hours she got the ball rolling and before you know it the checks were in the mail. Thank you again, Denise!"

"What a pleasant experience working with Stacey. These days it is rare to actually call a business and talk to someone on the phone that is polite, knowledgeable and actually happy to be helping you. That is what Stacey was when my mother and I called to see about transferring her State Farm policies from Florida to SC. Stacey answered all of our questions and took care of setting everything up to become active the day she moves into her new home. As most people know, moving, especially to a different state, is a lot of work and can be stressful. Stacey actually made this process a breeze and I am very grateful. "After being with this company for almost roughly 15 years in all the years Had two minor accidents in Hummer So the company has decided to cancel the insurance on my Harley-Davidson Business, I will be looking for a new insurance company"

"Tony pope an their insurance crew decided out of nowhere one day that I owed them over $500 and if I didn't pay them within 30 days my insurance was going to be canceled and they literally couldn't even tell me why I owed it. The lady that works there told me to not pay it and hold off until she can figure out what the hell it was for well guess what that would have ended up in me having my insurance canceled so I paid it and this was right literally before Christmas and they still to this day have not given me a straight answer on what that was about."

"We have been very pleased with the Tony Pope State Farm Agency since switching from a competitor company to save on rates last year. Carrie in the Summerville office has been really helpful and efficient each and every time we speak with her. She has helped us save money on our homeowner's policy and our four auto policies. We have made a few changes recently for our HS and college students' policies and she always finds us a way to have the best coverage while saving money. We highly recommend Tony Pope State Farm."
